team-ephix med en ändring

CoD4-laget i team-ephix har fått göra en ändring i sin lineup efter att Chenson blivit inaktiv. Ny i laget blir den tidigare ephix-spelaren V1oqor och därmed går man ifrån sin helbrittiska lineup. Ett något konstigt steg kan tyckas, eftersom en huvudanledning till att Chenson gått inaktiv var att han inte kunde följa med på lan. Förrutsättningarna till bootcamp lär ju inte direkt förbättras av att man har 1 spelare som bor i ett annat land.

Som vanligt är de man i laget mer än nöjd med nya spelaren:

We're very happy to finalise our 5th player for the summer lans, after trying a few uk players recommended to us we decided that we would have to look accross the ocean towards Europe ;) Tim recommended vioqor after being with him in Wave-Esports earlier this year and from game one we knew he was a great addition to our team. After nearly 3 weeks of playing with him we are now very proud to offically announce him as 5th player in team-ephix. We will be present with this 5 at the Antwerp Esports Festival, The Experience and Multiplay's i34.

i34 - slutsålt

Höstens uppföljare i34 blir bara hetare och hetare. Trots att det är 3 månader kvar tills det hela drar igång och trots att man i höst satsar på att husera ett större event än någonsin tidigare är nu BYOC-biljetterna slutsålda. Än finns det dock hopp. Prestera tillräckligt bra och du kan hoppas på att få en av de invites arrangören Multiplay planerar att dela ut till tröga topp-lag som ännu inte signat upp sig. Det finns dessutom TUP-biljetter kvar att inhandla.

We are currently looking towards extra space which will be invite only for the top teams not yet signed up. For Turn Up and Play it is scheduled to be the same size as i33 with more throughput, however we are looking at the possibility now of expansion.

CMAX.gg tar in gamla teamxeq

Finska teamxeq har nu tagit ett steg närmare offline-scenen när man nu tagits in i organisationen CMAX.gg, mest kända från CS 1.6 där ens lag dock droppade ut p.g.a. för dålig support. I vilket fall som helst är det trevligt att ett redan etablerat eSport-namn (såsom CMAX.gg) tar sig an CoD4 och det är väl bara att hoppas att fler gör detsamma.

After a pretty short conversation and negotiation with Laqunalleh from teamxeq, we already got it all wrapped up. It feels great to have teamxeq represending Team CMAX.gg and we hope they will be able to set their results forward under the CMAX tag, both online and offline.

Statement från Laqunalleh:

After months of searching a proper organisation we are now happy to aonnounce our future home! Teamxeq will from now on play under the name of Team CMAX.gg. They just gave us a opportunity we just couldn't bypass, as we really want to proove what we do at lan events. And with the help of Team CMAX.gg that is possible.

Our first lan event will most likely be Spectrum Lan event in finland 23. - 25.5 and after that in every CoD4 lan that Finland has to offer. You will also be able to see us live at some europe lans in near future.

The-Experience höjer B-prispotten!

Härliga nyheter när nu The-Experience har beslutat sig för att höja prispotten för B-turneringen. Förrutom att man självklart får en plats i A-turneringen hägrar nu även 2500 euro för de 4 främsta. Signup för B-turneringen kostar precis som tidigare, 250 euro/lag.

Druidz presenterar EmiZ

Precis som Koddblogg berättade här om dagen är det EmiZ som går in i Druidz och tar obamas plats nu när man vill satsa svenskt (läs mer). Nu har man dessvärre tappat bleffex enligt dem själva p.g.a. motivationsbrist, detta innebär således att sökandet efter en 5:e går vidare samtidigt som man hintar om att man redan har en lösning på gång.

Samtidigt passar Druidz på att lägga ut schemat för sommaren och man vädjar även till scenen i sig att mogna till och hålla spydiga kommentarer för sig själv.

"I'd also like to say that we experienced alot of abuse from opponents we met againts our female players and we havent cared so much about it but it's getting out of hand and we will not accept any of theese acts anymore. They are players like everyone else and you guys who say all kinds of stuff should be ashamed of yourselves and maybe think over your life.

After a good performance in the multiplay.co.uk's i33 tournament we hope to keep that level with this new team. We got a busy time ahead of us with lots of bootcamps and lans. With 4 bootcamps before the eXperience and i34 I think we will be ready to take on the top teams. With EmiZ good teamplay and excellent aim and ingame IQ I think she will help us to become a team in the top 10 rankings."

GALENSKAP plockar in bozz

Den förre L2W.Gaming-spelaren och CoD-räven bozz har nu hittat ett nytt hem efter L2W's fall (läs mer). De som har plockat upp honom är GALENSKAP som blev 1 man kort efter att Keno bestämt sig för att ägna mer tid åt det där som kallas "verkliga livet" (ja, ni kanske har hört talas om det?). Med bozz i laget är nu GALENSKAP placerade med 4 personer i Västerås och den 5:e alldeles i närheten, det ser man som en stor fördel då laget inte är sena med att påpeka att man satsar på att kunna deltaga på framtida offline-events. Danmark nästa måntro?

bozz själv kommenterar flytten:

"It's great fun to join GALENSKAP, I'm looking forward to team up with dohfOs again (we were in the same team in vCoD) and I believe that we, together with the other guys can go far. GALEN itself suited me just great since there allready was 3 other guys in the team living in the same city so we can bootcamp often without any problems. Now I'm just looking forward to start playing and working on our teamplay!"

one2 answered the call

One2, known to most from their dominant time in the early stages of ET:QW (both as One2 and Copenhagen e-Sports) and being unbeaten in BF2142 have taken another step.

After the sucess with rebuilding the ET:QW-team a decision was made that we were gonna switch scene, from ET:QW to the newly released Call of Duty 4. CoD4 have so far met our expectations and the future looks bright indeed. And as the ET:QW-scene just kept falling apart this seemed to be the correct move for us.

empee and Keno are both new to the team since our move to CoD4, but since we know them from before I think they'll merge with the others just fine.

My ( dohfOs) comment about One2:

After junk52.etqw fell apart and my best mate Guru left for Thailand, One2 seemed like the best choice for me. And after playing for quite awhile together with the guys I knew I was here to stay and once Numse made up his mind about moving to Call of Duty 4 it was an easy decision for me. At the time being there is nothing left for me in ET:QW and even though I loved the gameplay of ET:QW, it lacked in so many other aspects I find it almost impossible to continue playing it until some kinda saviour arrives.

With One2.CoD4 we're aiming high. I think we got the potential to suprise the whole scene with some good results even though it's hard to say were we stand at the moment as we don't have a single former CoD2-player with us but it feels like we're in great shape and soon ready for some real action.
