SAMPLE presenterar ny lineup

Holländska
Sample This har fått göra åtskilliga lineup-ändringar under den senaste tiden. Nu hoppas laget att man gjort sina sista när man presenterar sin nya lineup innehållande inte mindre än 2 nya spelare från KaOS. Detta gör att KaOS nu fått släppa hela 3 spelare till Sample This vilket i sin tur innebär att KaOS lägger ner sin CoD4-satsning där Druidz-bekante obama och klanhoppande robyYE hamnat i ingenmansland. De två spelarna som tar steget över till Sample This denna gången är lrs och nielsson, frågan som återstår nu är vilken nivå denna nya lineup kan komma upp till.

The major clean-up has been done. The quitting of five of our main players leaving only ImpreZ and me probably didn't go unnoticed I think. After the Acer Challenge we thought such changes were needed, cause we were in the need of some professionalism. In lrs, kajsk1ng and nielsson we think we have found motivated players, that can surely bring us to a next level. I wanna thank each player that we splitted with and wish them gl in the future.

lrs kommenterar splittringen i KaOS:

What can I say, I guess it comes as a surprise to alot of people, but lately the atmosphere in the KaoS team hasn’t been great. I noticed most of my energy went into making sure the everybody was getting along smoothly. This had a negative effect on my game but most of all my fun. I realised this wasn’t working out the way we planned and my motivation dropped. All of a sudden a got a pm from Kaj, I knew he had been playing with sample-this and he told me they were interested in me as well. After a couple days of playing CoD4 & TF2, I noticed myself having fun again. Next to that I get to keep playing with Niels and Kaj, so I think we’ve got a bright future ahead of us. I do wish to thank the KaoS management for their time and devotion and the players we leave behind, good luck to all of you!

DOK åter igen 5

Holländska DOK Gaming som nu senast fick se klanhopparen robyYE lämna dem (läs mer..) har nu åter igen fått tag i en 5:e. Ny i laget är fatal, tidigare spelare i Sample This. Anledningen sägs vara interna problem i Sample och han hoppas nu att det ska bli bättre i DOK.

After I left Sample-this due circumstances inside the clan, I already knew where to go. I met DOK-gaming on the acer challenge and they impressed me with there attitude.

I have faith in this clan and I hope to grab some prizes with them (offline & online). I wanna thank everyone inside sample-this for there time and the Acer challenge was a nice experience for me.

kEVINNNN från Sample This intervjuad

Ett utav de absolut starkaste lagen från Benelux-området är Sample This. De gjorde sig först kända som xciteuk under CODQCUP under Januari där man överraskade alla utom sig själva och tog sig mycket långt. Man har även fortsatt prestera helt ok och är i skrivande stund fortsatt kvar i EuroCup-slutspelet efter att man vunnit sin grupp och alldeles nyligen slagit ut Oslo Lions ur lower bracket.

Community-sidan eSports4all har gjort en intervju med en utav lagets frontfigurer, belgiske kEVINNNN där man tar upp bland annat just EuroCup men även vad sommaren har att ge för laget.

Q: You are also playing in EC. There you performed well against known teams so what is your aim in this cup?
A: After beating the Oslo Lions few days ago, we surely hope to get further in the Eurocup. I think we should be facing Team-Speedlink in the next round so, I hope we can take that win home. If that happens then we will see how everything turns out.

Q: Where do you see your team in the european top ranking of all the cod4 teams?
A: I think Sample This is definately a team who belongs to the top 10 in the Europe. Tobad we can't attend EAX/TEX, but we will try to proof ourselfs in the Acer Challenge.

Q: Today you must also perform on lans to be a top team. Have you got any experiences there and what are your plans for the future?
A: Well, we attended 2 lans so far: OCC24 (In Belgium) and The Party 6 (In the Netherland). We both ended first in those lans. And plans for the future..
We will be attending the Acer challenge that is coming up soon. Hope we can take the first prize home. I heard Komacrew is attending aswell, so this might be our chance to proof ourself to everyone in the community.

SAMPLE med ytterligare ändringar

Det var bara några dagar sedan jag senast skrev om Sample This när de då gick ut med nyheten om att de tappat robyYE (läs mer). Nu har det skett ytterligare ändringar och det är Xtctje som väljer att tacka för sig efter interna problem i laget. Xtctje letar nu efter nytt lag samtidigt som man i Sample This plockat 2 nya spelare i fatal och niZ.

After a great time with Sample this, it’s a sad point in my so called gaming career. I want to thank eXo, Imprez, Mean, RobyYe, Wizzinium, JRaven and kEVINNNN for the great time which I’ve had. When I Joined up the team only had 1 achievement which was the CodQcup and look were they are now. But after having some intern problems about what to do next we both decided it was better to split ways. I wish all of my ex-Team mates good luck and hope that I will find a new home.

SAMPLE tappar robyYE

Ett utav de starkare lagen i Benelux vart precis en man kortare, det är Sample This (f.d. xciteuk/mgl) som tappar robyYE efter att densamme fått nyheten att han endast hade en backup-plats att ta hand om. Det var bara några veckor sedan robyYE gick med i laget och han har sedan dess hunnit med att vinna det nederländska lanet The Party 6 men nu har huvudmedlemen mean bestämt sig för att åter igen bli nolife och därför petas robyYE ner till 6:e platsen vilket alltså inte var allt för populärt.

Robert 'mean' Kouters:

Few weeks ago we added robyYE to create a 6 men line-up. This was mainly cause I was less active then the other four and I couldn't go to The Party 6 due to personal reasons. With me now being more active it looked like robyYE would become back-up. Robin felt that task wasn't for him, which we can understand, and decided to split with us. We like to thank robyYE for the effort he put in this team, he's a great player and person and wish him good luck in the future.

Om jag får säga min personliga mening känns det som att man borde plockat bort ImpreZ istället då han spelat föga imponerande de gånger jag mött honom. Men men.. de borde rimligtvis veta bättre än mig.
